The research is purposely design to fully investigate
the thermal, electrical, and mechanical properties of two-dimensional (2D)
carbide Ti3C2 (MXene) reinforced Ultra-high molecular
weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) composites. The MXene is synthesize first through
etching method using hydrofluoric acid (HF) and characterize its structural
properties before reinforce to the UHMWPE. Furthermore, a correlation between
filler loading with thermal, electrical, and mechanical properties will be also
clarify up to a certain extent. For the effect of post-treatment, we aim to use
alkalization and calcination methods with different concentrations on the MXene
filler of two-dimensional (2D) carbide Ti3C2 (MXene)
reinforced Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) composites. To
conclude, we are perfectly convinced that the research is new, worthy and noble
especially for future demands under scoring the role of material scientists and

What is your motivation for doing a PhD?
My motivation: To spread the research knowledge from educational level to the industrial level which turn into potential business, that benefits towards humankind globally.
Why did you choose your research topic/title
This paradigm research is novel and the output is positively useful towards the electronic, medical, and material manufacturing industries. This new miracle materials can change the perspective of technology which bring into a whole new level in many organizations.
1. Became facilitator on research projects for undergraduate students and secondary students. 2. Involved in volunteer helping people in remote area (Malaysia) 3. Successfully published 5 papers and related journals. 4. Squash player at university and state level.
What difference will this research make in your life and the lives of others?
This research will bring a new paradigm in my life as a researcher which consequently improved my skills, knowledge and leadership. In return, I will be able doing a knowledge transfer program (activity) towards society which they can implement in their daily life, and also bring a whole new level towards materials technology industries.
